Safety
As a continued effort to ensure a program of accountability and safety, we will be installing Lytx Visual cameras and audio accessible software into each CIESC Driver Education vehicle. Access to both audio/visual recordings will not be accessible to the public but permission will be granted to CIESC administrators only.
Along with being used for instructor evaluations and training, the cameras will be monitoring inside and outside activities throughout each behind-the-wheel lesson. Audio will only be downloaded should a problem occur and we need footage for corroboration. Because recording is taking place and these cameras are hard-wired into each car, your CIESC DriverEd terms and conditions will be updated to contain verbiage informing that registering for behind the wheel with us means that you are giving consent to be recorded inside of each CIESC vehicle.
CIESC is excited about this new partnership with Lytx and moving another step in the direction of making CIESC DriverEd Safety the safest driver education program in the state. Safer Drivers, Safer roads is not just our motto, it is our value and our goal.
Someone famous once said, “an inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered.” As CIESC DriverEducation transfers from our current software to a new, upgraded platform, we ask that you consider this not an inconvenience but an adventure.
